Das Globalprojekt Qualitätsinfrastruktur (GPQI) beteiligt sich am "IAA India Day", der am 13. September im Rahmen der Internationalen Automobil-Ausstellung auf dem Frankfurter Messegelände stattfinden wird. Dort stellt es die Studie "Automotive and Component Trade with India" vor.

The first Indo-German Standardisation Forum took place in New Delhi on 12 July 2019. More than 60 representatives from government and industry as well as standardisation experts came together at this interactive event to discuss India’s and Germany’s approaches and priorities in standardisation.

More than 30 Indian and German standardisation experts and industry representatives discussed standards for electric vehicle charging infrastructure in New Delhi on 11 July 2019. The event took place during a delegation visit to India by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, and the German standardisation bodies DIN and DKE.

German industry representatives came together to discuss technical market access challenges in India. The exchange took place with a German delegation from the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, the German standardisation bodies DIN and DKE, and representatives of the German Embassy in Delhi. The meeting took place on 10 July 2019 in New Delhi at the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce (IGCC).

Vom 19. bis zum 23. Mai tagte die Deutsch-Chinesische Kommission Normung (DCKN) unter dem Vorsitz des Bundesministeriums für Wirtschaft und Energie (BMWi) und des Staatlichen Zentralamts für Normung der VR China (SAC) im südchinesischen Xiamen.
