On 1 April 2014, a workshop on “Testing methods of determination of Chromium VI content” was held in Berlin hosted by the German Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) as a part of a study tour about requirements for reference materials.

The Quality Infrastructure Project deals with a common definition of the requirements on reference materials of inorganic elements in toys for Germany and China.
